Four hostages that were abducted from the train attack on the Abuja-Kaduna railway on the 28th of March, have been released. The hostages were released yesterday, leaving 43 captives in the custody of the terrorists. The release came after a viral video surfaced, which showed the terrorist torturing the abductees and threatening to abduct President Buhari and Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. The terrorist demanded a sum of N100 million for the release of the 43 hostages but it is not yet clear if the freed hostages paid the demanded ransom.
