Kaduna-Abuja Train Attack: Five More Captives Released

Five more captives that were abducted by terrorists from the Kaduna-Abuja train have been released. On March 28, Terrorists abducted over 60 train passengers after attacking the train, killing 14 and leaving several others wounded. After the incident, the abductees have been released in batches. According to the DailyPost, a family member of one of the victims confirmed that Professor Mustapha Umar Imam, a medical doctor at the Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUS) in Sokoto was among the released captives. Terrorists Now Occupy Osunm Ogun Forests – Gani Adams

Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, has expressed worry over the level of insecurity in Nigeria. He said that intelligence reports obtained showed that suspected terrorists were already laying siege in forests in Osun and Ogun States. The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has confirmed that the abductors of missing actors, Clemson Cornel and Cynthia Okereke have contacted their families and they are demanding ransom. The AGN President, Emeka Rollas reported that the kidnappers have contacted the families of the abductees and are demanding a ransom of $100,000. The Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso has advised senators against the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari. Military Checkpoint Near Zuma Rock Ambushed by Terrorists

On Thursday Night, terrorists ambushed a military checkpoint near Zuma rock, Madalla town along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway in Niger State. The terrorists invaded the military checkpoint around 7 pm and attacked the troops killing several soldiers. Three personnel were confirmed dead from the attack while several others were wounded. Nollywood stars Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornell have reportedly been abducted by suspected gunmen after returning from a movie set in Enugu.
