Nigerian Film, Mami Wata Wins Sundance Film Festival Award

Mami Wata, a Nigerian film has won the World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Cinematography at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The film directed by CJ Obasi and produced by Oge Obasi was recognized by the Sundance Film Festival, which is one of the most highly-rated film festivals in the world. Actors Guild Confirms Release Of Abducted Nollywood Stars

The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has confirmed the safe release of its members, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel (Agbogidi), who were kidnapped while returning from a set in Enugu State.
