190,000 Applicants Jostle For 9,460 NIS, NSCDC Jobs

Over 190,000 applicants are jostling for 9,460 job slots at the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The candidates sat for the examination today in 126 centres across nationwide, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The examination, which was computer-based, was conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Home-based Super Eagles Camping To Precede Future Matches

The Nigeria Football Federation has responded to calls by Nigerians for the involvement of domestic league players in Super Eagles’ matches, by agreeing to commence camping with home-based players, for a week or two, prior to the arrival of the overseas-based players. Stream Two of NYSC To Resume Camp Thursday

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 pandemic says the second stream of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) will take off from Thursday. PTF Chairman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha stated this on Monday during the task force’s media briefing in Abuja. Mustapha also added that the date for the second stream’s camping was picked following the end of the camp training for the first stream corps members, adding that the third stream would be called to camp in January.
