Attack On Abia Cattle Market: Ikpeazu, Northern Community Leaders Meet

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has restated the avowed commitment of his administration towards prioritizing the security and welfare of all law-abiding residents in the state irrespective of where they come from, as he describes the ugly incident at the newly relocated Omuma Uzor Cattle Market/ Abattoir in Ukwa West as unfortunate and condemnable. Governor Ikpeazu who stated this at the Governor’s Lodge, Aba while receiving leaders of the Hausa Community in Aba together with Hausa Leaders from Gombe and Adamawa states, commiserated with them especially the families of those who died in the said incident. “My Health Has Deteriorated” – Abba Kyari Says As Court Refuses To Release Him

Embattled Police Officer, Abba kyari has claimed that his health has deteriorated badly since his detention by the National Drug law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA. It was gathered that Kyari, a deputy commissioner of Police, dragged the Federal Government to court seeking his release. it would be recalled that Kyari was arrested last week and handed over to the NDLEA over his involvement in Cocaine Trafficking. Kyari entered hot water after he attempted to bribe an NDLEA agent with $61,000 to facilitate the release of 17 KG of seized Cocaine. He was arrested alongside four others. The embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, has claimed that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) are behind his travails due to the onslaught launched against them in the South East. Kyari was said to have made this claim when he appeared before a probe panel led by Joseph Egbunike, a Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) at the Force Headquarters. Police Foil Unknown Gunmen Attack On Anambra Police Station 

The Anambra State police command has foiled an attack by unknown gunmen who stormed the Uli Police Station in Ihiala local government area. The attackers stormed the station in a black coloured Lexus 330 car, but were repelled by the superior firepower of the officers on duty, thus forcing the gunmen to run away. Suspected hoodlums have attacked some supporters of the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregebsola, under the All Progressives Congress. Tactical teams of the Imo State Police Command have allegedly shot dead a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) in a fierce gun battle in a forest in Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of the state.
