200,000 Npower Beneficiaries To Be Engaged As Financial Service Operator

With the N-EXIT plan package, at least 200,000 exited Npower beneficiaries will be engaged as financial services operators under a Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) scheme controlled by the Central Bank of Nigeria. A four-day training programme to establish beneficiaries in Mobile Money transactions has been launched in the Federal Capital Territory and the North Central states. Training Of Exited N Power Volunteers Begins October – FG

The Federal government has disclosed its plan to commence training for the exited batches A and B of the NPower scheme. The Federal Government also said out of 500,000 exited volunteers, 390,000 of them have been successfully accommodated in the NEXIT. NEXIT is an exit package for all the beneficiaries of the N Power in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to enable them to benefit from the CBN empowerment options. The Federal Government has distributed engagement letters and tablets to the 206 independent monitors engaged to monitor the effectiveness of its National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) in Lagos State. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Mrs. Sadiya Farouk, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary Bashir Alkali, said the 206 were among the 5,000 trained between February and April 2021 across the country. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has released the list of successful applicants in its ongoing recruitment exercise.
