Kwara State to Partner AfDB on Infrastructure Devt., Women Empowerment

Kwara State Government has opened talks with the African Development Bank (AfDB) on various areas of partnership, including road construction, small and medium scale enterprises with focus on women empowerment, energy, and agro-processing. This contained in a statement on Wednesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye. Lagos Governor, Sanwo-Olu Assures Police of Improved Welfare Package

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo – Olu on Tuesday assured improved welfare of the officers of the State Rapid Response squad (RRS) towards ensuring that they discharge their duties effectively and with civility to the people. The Governor made the promise at the Parade Ground of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos. Sanwo – Olu, said he would direct all government hospitals to give prompt attention to police officers injured in the line of duty. In a bid to encourage entrepreneurship and improve country's economy, the federal and state governments have been urged to accommodate skills acquisition in the school curriculum.
