A chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Doyin Okupe has been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).

Okupe was arrested on Thursday in Lagos at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

His arrest was confirmed by the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, stating that Okupe was intercepted at Terminal 1 of the airport at the instance of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
