Gov El-Rufai Reveals Identity Of Kaduna Train Attackers

Train Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State on Friday in Abuja met President Muhammadu Buhari on security developments in his state following Monday night’s terror attack on an Abuja-Kaduna bound train. Gunmen Suspected terrorists on Monday evening bombed Abuja-Kaduna rail tracks and attacked a train with about 970 passengers onboard. Airlines To Increase Flight Tickets To N120,000: Allen Onyema

Allen Onyema, CEO of Air Peace, on Monday, warned that airfare might rise to about N120,000 if urgent actions are not taken to reduce the price of aviation fuel. Mr Onyema who spoke on behalf of the Airline Operators Association of Nigeria (AOAN) at a parliamentary briefing on Monday called on President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime to grant operators permission to import the product to end the hike. The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has directed district managers to be prepared to shut down train stations plying Abuja-Kaduna, Lagos-Ibadan and Warri-Itakpe routes in the event that workers down tools. In an internal memo issued on Tuesday, the Managing Director of NRC, Engr. Fidet Okhiria, alerted all district managers and relevant officers of the need to protect railway assets in the event the strike goes ahead.
