PDP Condemns Wike’s Endorsement Of Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has frowned at the endorsement of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. Wike had during the 22nd conference of Committee of Wives of Lagos State officials, on Tuesday in Lagos endorsed Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office. The Rivers State governor who spoke at the event said he chose to attend the occasion despite Sanwo-Olu being a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC. This was decided at the National Security Council, NSC, meeting president by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday at the State House, Abuja. The Kogi State House of Assembly complex situated at Crusher Area of Lokoja was up in flames in the early hours of Monday. The damage largely damaged the Assembly complex in the ill-fated incident on Monday. Among the people that arrived the complex early were the Speaker of the house, Mathew Kolawole, and the state security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara. The cause of the fire was not clear as at the time of filing this report.
