Following reports of attack on peaceful protesters demanding for Police reform, embassy of Sweden in Nigeria has condemned the attacks. The reaction was contained in a tweet on Twitter on Saturday. The Swedish embassy said, “Sweden condemns all forms of violence and acknowledges the #humanright to peaceful protests. Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar has taken a jibe 2021 budget proposal submitted to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday. He said the N13.08 trillion 2021 budget proposal contravened the Fiscal Responsibility Act. The flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the 2019 presidential election faulted the budget proposal in a statement released on Friday, titled “The 2021 Budget Proposal Contravenes the Fiscal Responsibility Act”. The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has directed the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enforce no-face-mask-no-voting rule in the Saturday governorship election in Ondo State. School Reopening: PTF Rolls Out New Guidelines

Following federal government’s directive on school resumption as from October 12, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has released fresh guidelines for the reopening of schools across the country.
