The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has declared child of Nollywood actress, Reginal Daniels as the movie industry’s baby of the year. The President of the Actors Guild, Emeka Rollas made the remark on a courtesy call to the actress and her billionaire husband at their Abuja residence. “This is our baby, Nollywood baby of the year, we are here to rejoice with your family” Emeka Rollas declared. Popular Nigerian musician D’banj has lodged a libel suit of N1.5 billion on his rape accuser Ms. Seyitan through his counsel Mike Ezekhome (SAN) Ms. Seyitan had called D’banj out for sexually molesting her at a Glee Hotel, Victory Island, Lagos on December 31, 2018.  which she said took Dbanj procured the services of controversial and foremost Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), to slam a libel suit of N1.5 billion naira on the Ms. Seyitan, a lady who had accused him of rape. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has given Falz a 7-day period within which to withdraw the video and apologise to Nigerians. According to the group, if he does not do this, he will face legal actions. The group particularly had issues with the girls dancing "shaku shaku" while dressed in hijab. They also commented on the Fulani man who was shown beheading someone after dropping his traditional guitar. Falz' attempt at explaining the concept of the video - where the girls wearing hijab and dancing "shaku shaku" represented the Chibok girls - was found unacceptable to the group.
