Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, has lauded the administration of his principal for responding smartly to the Dapchi and Kanakara abductions while berating former President Goodluck Jonathan for delaying in his response to Chibok Abduction. Two Men Gang-Rape Teenager in Ogun, Threaten to Post Video

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two men, Damilare Oyeniyi and Emmanuel Okori, for allegedly gang-raping a 19-year-old teenager. The two suspects who were living in the same compound with the victim in the Sango Ota area of Ogun State have confessed to the crime. The Police said the victim reported the crime to the police despite threats by the perpetrators to post the video of the act on social media if reported to the police. FG in Talks To Secure Omah Lay, Tems’ Release in Uganda

The Federal Government on Monday disclosed that efforts are being made to get detained Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems, freed in Uganda, says the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa. Both singers were arrested by the Uganda Police Force for flouting COVID-19 guidelines. They were arrested after their performances at The Big Brunch, which held at Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda. Dabiri-Erewa made  this known in a tweet on Monday. “#FreeOmahLay #FreeTems .
