Katsina Abduction: Government Shuts Down Schools Indefinitely

The Katsina State government has ordered all schools in the state to bring to closure their third term for the 2019/2020 academic session. Schools were initially scheduled to end the current session next week but have been asked to shut down until further notice. This was contained in a statement by Sani Suleiman, Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Education. BREAKING: Seven Killed As Gunmen Attack Kaduna Community

Not less than seven people have died after gunmen stormed Ungwan Bido village in Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday morning. Two children are also said to be missing after the attack. Samuel Aruwa, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, confirmed the story to ChannelsTV, stating that the attackers burnt down four houses. The attack follows the alleged killing of a Fulani herdsman, Isiyaka Saidu, of Ungwan Pah village on Saturday.
