Customs Seize 2,375 Litres Of Petrol, Generate Over N127m In Sokoto

The Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, Kebbi State Command, has seized not less than 2,375 litres of Petroleum Motor Spirit popularly known as petrol loaded in jerricans. The command in its November review stated that smuggled 303 bales and 94 sacks of second-hand clothing, and 58 bags of foreign parboiled rice of 50kg each; among other items with a duty paid value of 46,706,795,00 were intercepted by its operatives. Comptroller Joseph Attah, the Customs Area Controller stated this on Thursday while displaying the seized items by the Command in the month of November. Ogun Police Arrest Two Brothers For Car Theft

The Nigeria Police, Ogun State command has nabbed two brothers for stealing a Toyota Camry in Lagos State. Officers of the force nabbed the suspects on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway while attempting to escape with the stolen car to Imo State. Police Nab Two in Possession Of 468 PVCs

The police have nabbed two individuals in possession of 468 Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs. This was contained in a statement by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s National Commissioner, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, on Sunday. Okoye said one of the suspects identified as Nasiru Idris, was caught with 101 PVCs in Sokoto State and another whose name was not disclosed was found with 367 PVCs in Kano State. Gunmen Ambush Bullion Van In Anambra

Gunmen ambushed a bullion van in Ufuma, Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State on Thursday. Reports say the bullion van was attacked around 4:00 p.m while conveying cash to an undisclosed location. The gunmen followed and shot at the van and security personnel attached to the van.
