Corps Member Killed by Assailants in Adamawa

A Corps member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Samaila Awudu, has been murdered by five assailants in Yola, Adamawa State. According to reports, Samaila, who is 28 years old and from Taraba State, was killed in the early morning of Friday at the Yolde Pate lodge. NDLEA Destroys N2Billion Worth of Illicit Drugs in Akwa Ibom

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, revealed about N2 billion worth of illicit drugs has been destroyed by the agency between 2014 and September 2021 in Akwa Ibom. The Agency’s Secretary, Mr. Shedrach Haruna, who represented the NDLEA Chairman, retired Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa, said this when he visited the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Moses Ekpo in Uyo on Thursday. There has been an alleged attack by herdsmen on two farmers at Ifira-Akoko in Akoko South East Local Government Area of Ondo State.
