Bola Tinubu The National leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said he remains unshaken and very confident of winning the presidential ticket of the party. The presidential hopeful who is in the race with over 20 other aspirants in the APC spoke weekend in Jalingo, Taraba state capital after an interface with delegates of the party. IPOB The United Kingdom has barred the Indigenous People of Biafra, the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra and other Biafran groups from participating in its asylum programme. The British government noted that IPOB had been proscribed as a terrorist group by the Federal Government and that members of the group and its paramilitary wing – the Eastern Security Network – have reportedly committed human rights violations. Two Bombers Allegedly Killed In Imo Oil Firm Blast

NPF Two persons have been confirmed dead after an explosive device went off at an oil firm in Imo State. The incident happened on Wednesday at Addax Oil Company in Izombe community of Oguta Local Government Area. Less than two weeks ago, an explosion at an illegal refinery site at Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area killed about 150 people.
