Reno Omokri, a former aide to erstwhile president Goodluck Jonathan has lauded Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi as an excellent candidate to lead the country. President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with popular musician, Bongos Ikwue, on the passing of his wife, Josephine Ifeyinwa, aged 73. The president in a condolence message issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, condoled with his family, friends, Catholic Women Organisation, CWO, and other associations of the deceased. ASUP Issues Okowa 30-Day Ultimatum Over Salary Policy

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), has given a 30-day ultimatum to Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, to put a stop to its Salary Subvention Policy in the state-owned polytechnics. The Polytechnic teachers made the demand at a news conference organised by its local chapter at the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku on Thursday.
