The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zubairu Muazu on Thursday promised to collaborate with Nigerian Institute of Management through capacity building training of officers of the State command. Lagos Task Force Orders Removal of Illegal Structures, Kiosks on Badagry Expressway

The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force Lagos State Taskforce on Wednesday ordered the removal of all illegal structures, Kiosks and the end to commercial activities along Badagry Expressway within seven days. Task Force chairman, CSP Ola Yinka Egbeyemi disclosed this while addressing owners of these illegal structures and the traders at different at the expressway, warned them to immediately vacate all road setbacks and walkways within the stipulated date to avoid the wrath of law. Nigeria: Nigerian Air Force Appoints Branch Chiefs, Redeploys AOCs

In a bid to adopt effective operational system, the Nigerian Air Force on Wednesday appointed new Branch Chiefs, redeployed 2 Air Officers Commanding (AOCs) and other senior officers. In a statement from its spokesman, Air commodore Ibikunle Daramola, said the new appointments take effect from 19th of July. According to Daramola,  two Air Officers Commanding were redeployed in the force. In fulfilment of Lagos State governor,  Babajide  Sanwo-Olu on zero tolerance  for potholes, the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC)  has commenced full-scale routine repair and rehabilitation of roads across the state. The Lagos State Government on Thursday destroyed a truckload of toxic “ponmo” which was seized a few days ago at Ijegun by the Igando/Ikotun Police Command. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Olayiwole Onasanya, made this known at the Medical Dumpsite, Ewu Elepe, Ikorodu, where the destruction of the toxic Ponmo took place.
