We are On Top of Security Situation – Fayemi

Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi has disclosed that his government, in collaboration with security agencies, are on top of the worsening insecurity challenges facing the state. He said security agencies, including the Ekiti State Security Network, otherwise called Amotekun, would leave no stone unturned until peace was achieved across the state. The governor, who was reacting to the insecurity in the state, stressed that there was no reason for the residents to be afraid because the state had put in place water tight security to deal with security challenges.

Stream Two of NYSC To Resume Camp Thursday

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 pandemic says the second stream of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) will take off from Thursday. PTF Chairman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha stated this on Monday during the task force’s media briefing in Abuja. Mustapha also added that the date for the second stream’s camping was picked following the end of the camp training for the first stream corps members, adding that the third stream would be called to camp in January. BREAKING: Seven Killed As Gunmen Attack Kaduna Community

Not less than seven people have died after gunmen stormed Ungwan Bido village in Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday morning. Two children are also said to be missing after the attack. Samuel Aruwa, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, confirmed the story to ChannelsTV, stating that the attackers burnt down four houses. The attack follows the alleged killing of a Fulani herdsman, Isiyaka Saidu, of Ungwan Pah village on Saturday.
