Ekweremadu Case: The Youngman is 22yrs, Not 15yrs, NIS

Senator Ike Ekweremadu appears to be having some reprieve as the Nigerian Immigration Service has confirmed that the supposed minor in the case is actually 22 years and not 15years old as he claims. It will be recalled that Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested on charges of trafficking a minor for organ harvesting. While all details are still emerging, Isah Idris, the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service has revealed that the young man in the center of the controversy, Mr Ukpo Nwamini David, is actually 22 years of age and so not a minor. Justice Tanko Muhammad, the current Chief Justice of Nigeria has stepped aside from that office. This confirmation came a few hours after rumours of his resignation hit the airwaves. According to Punch Newspapers, confirmation of this news was given by his Special Assistant on Media and Communication, Ahuraka Yusu Isah. He's reported to have said "the latest information is that the CJN has resigned; I spoke with somebody very close to him and he said he has resigned." Ike Ekweremadu and Wife Arrested in the Uk for Trafficking Child for Organ Harvesting

The Metro Police in the UK has announced the arrest of a Nigerian man named Ike Ekweremadu aged 60, and his wife Beatrice Ekweremadu, aged 55. The two were remanded in custody on suspicion of conspiring to bring a minor to the UK for the purpose of organ harvesting. Mr Major Agni, the spokesperson of the NNPP (New Nigeria Peoples Party), has indicated that the only premise under which a coalition with Labour Party will work is if Peter Obi accepts to serve as the Vice Presidential candidate to Kwankwaso. Following the back lash that met Father Mbaka on his attack on Peter Obi, the Bishop of Enugu Diocese has directed that Catholics stay away from Mbaka's Adoration Ministry programs. According to the Bishop in the letter dated June 17 2022, the Bishop noted that the order will be in place until the conclusion of the canonical processes that the Diocese has put in place. A funeral mass for the victims took place today at the Mydas Resort, Owo and had in attendance Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state along with many other dignitaries.
