Results from 14 local government areas announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission show that Obaseki scored a total of 254,169 while Ize-Iyamu polled 163,429.
Results from the remaining eight LGAs will determine the ultimate winner of the keenly contested election.
So far, the PDP candidate leads with a difference of 90,740 votes after results from 14 local government areas have been announced by the electoral umpire.
The PDP had on Saturday alleged plots by the APC to alter the election results in favour of the PDP.
