Ozigbo while announcing his decision in an interview on Arise Television, threw his weight behind LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Atiku vs Wike: Resign Now, PDP chieftain Tells Ayu

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sam Ohuabunwa, has asked the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, to resign from his position if it will help end the dispute between the party’s presidential candidate and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State. Ohuabunwa stated this during an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday. There have been reports that prior to his election, Ayu allegedly agreed to step down if the party elected a Northerner as its presidential candidate.
