APC Runs Riot at Oshiomhole’s Poling Unit, Floors PDP

The All Progressive Congress (APC) flag bearer in the Edo State gubernatorial election, Osagie Ize-Iyamu defeated won the polling unit of the immediate former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole with a land slide margin.

According to result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the APC polled 1,201 at Ward 10, PU 001, Estako West Local Government Area.

The result revealed Ize-Iyamu’s closest contender in the Saturday election, Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored zero vote.

Oshiomhole had vowed to displace Obaseki who he played a key role in his emergence as governor of the state in 2016. Collation of results continues as electoral observers keenly anticipate the final outcome of the election.
