NECO Releases 2022 SSCE Examination Results

The National Examination Council (NECO) announced on Thursday, the release of the 2022 Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results. NECO Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi made the announcement at the NECO Headquarters in Minna. Again, WAEC Extends Registration for WASSCE Private Candidates

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has further extended registration for its 2020 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination for private candidates. The council disclosed the extension via its official Twitter handle, @waecnigeria on Friday. WAEC explained that the new registration deadline is Friday, November 13, 2020. The tweet reads: "WASSCE FOR PRIVATE CANDIDATES, 2020 - SECOND SERIES: FURTHER EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD Intending candidates should note that there has been a further extension of the registration period to Friday, November 13, 2020." WAEC had earlier extended the deadline for registration to October 23 before the latest extension.

WAEC Releases Results, Withholds Results of 215,149 Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Monday released the 2020 SSCE results. It also disclosed that it has withheld the results of 215, 149 candidates who wrote the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Nigeria. The council said the results of the candidates are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice. Patrick Areghan, head of WAEC Nigeria, broke the news at a briefing in Lagos on Monday morning while announcing the official release of this year’s WASSCE results.
