Press Release: For the Records – What VP Osinbajo Said on Kidnapping

Nowhere was the word exaggerated used Our attention has been drawn to misleading reports in a section of the media purportedly made by and attributed to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, on the security situation in Nigeria, in New York.  For the purpose of clarity, and the records it is pertinent to state that Prof. Osinbajo was entirely misquoted and his words taken out of context in the said media reports especially those that quoted him as saying that "Kidnapping in Nigeria is exaggerated and not entirely new"  Nowhere in the Vice President's remarks at the townhall meeting with the Nigerian community did he use the word "exaggerated," not even by implication.  His remarks about the social media being hysterical was a general response to comments made by participants at th...

Opinion: Osinbajo Takes His Lying Spree to America – Reno Omokri

My attention has been drawn to statements by the so called Pastor Yemi Osinbajo, the deputy to General Muhammadu Buhari, in New York where, as usual, he made false statements to the media in an effort to explain away his non performance in office. Speaking in New York yesterday, Osinbajo said as follows: "As at 2010, Nigeria had about 112.7million people living in extreme poverty. Nothing in place, there was no Social Investment Programme, there was no social security, no way of taking people out of poverty." The above statement is a lie and it is very easy to disprove Mr. Osinbajo's fallacious assertions. According to the United Nations and the World Poverty Clock, Nigeria overtook India as the world headquarters for extreme poverty on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, when her populati...

Nigeria: Osinbajo is a Liar – Reno Omokri

Former assistant former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has taken to his Twitter account to call out Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, calling him an outright liar. In a series of tweets, Reno noted that Nigeria was worse off under the Buhari-Osinbajo administration. He wrote: "@ProfOsinbajo claimed in USA that @GeJonathan did nothing for the poor and under GEJ we had 112.7 million extremely poor people. Yet, according to the @UN, Nigeria's extremely poor population INCREASED to its highest ever level on June 26, 2018 to "87 million". "The #WorldPovertyClock established that Nigeria had 61 million extremely poor people in 2010. But @ProfOsinbajo lied yesterday in USA that there were 112.7 million extremely poor people in 2010 and he and @MBuhari are reducing the number. And h...

Opinion: It’s Time for INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, to Resign – Femi Aribisala

This is no longer a question of nullifying the election. The only option left is to declare Atiku Abubakar outright as the elected president of Nigeria. The logic is simple.  The 2019 presidential election in Nigeria cannot be, by all accounts, the worst election in the history of Nigeria without the corresponding INEC chairman being, at the same time, the worst INEC chairman in the history of Nigeria.  INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, presided over an atrocious and fraudulent election that is now being fiercely contested in the courts.  He can no longer remain as INEC chairman. INEC is supposed to be an impartial umpire in elections in Nigeria.  However, it is now obvious that Mahmood Yakubu’s INEC operated essentially as an arm of the ruling APC.  The evidence is overwhelming that Ya...

Press Release: The Issuance of Bench Warrant Against Me Is an Abuse of Process Taken Too Far- Innoson

Filed Notice of Appeal and Motion for Stay of Execution Against The Order. The issuance of bench warrant against me by the Federal High Court Ikoyi Lagos, today, June 24th 2019 is an abuse of process taken too far by the Court and made without jurisdiction. The order itself is a nullity and does not have grounds on law. Firstly, there is no prima facie case against me. The charge was based on suspected or trumped up action of Innoson Nigeria Ltd and Innoson Nigeria Ltd was a party originally to the charge but was discharged by the Court of Appeal. Secondly, there was no notice of trial served on me pursuant to the Administration of Criminal Justice Act. The act provides that before the court should issue a bench warrant, there must be proof of service of the charge and the notice ...

Opinion: INEC Server – The Trap that Caught Baba, INEC and APC

This INEC hide & seek game has become nothing but comical... Stage 1: INEC discovered late that they didn't cover their dirty tracks very well and that Atiku has already gotten some reliable and damaging info from insiders and supporting evidence too. APC saw this and immediately petitioned the police alleging that Atiku had hacked their Server. But they couldn't substantiate anything or implicate Atiku. They knew that the entire manipulations have been found out by the opposition who are ready to hit them hard at the Tribunal. So they needed to act fast, and off to work they went. Stage 2: Emissaries, friends, some members of the National Peace Committee, some Northern elites and powers that are close to Atiku were sent to dissuade him from challenging the 2019 sham of electio...
