INEC Announces Extension Of PVC Collection Deadline
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced an extension of the deadline for the collection of permanent voter cards, PVCs.
This marks the second time the electoral umpire will extend the deadline for PVC collection.
The collection was scheduled to stop on January 29.
According to the national commissioner and chairman, information and voter education committee, Festus Okoye, the decision was reached after a meeting on Saturday.
INEC said that the new deadline for PVC collection is February 5.
