Wike Promises Kwankwaso Logistics Support  

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has pledged to offer the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, logistics support for campaigning in his state.   Wike stated this during the inauguration of roads in Emohua Local Government Area, LGA, of Rivers State on Monday. Kwankwaso Comments On Speculation Of Stepping Down For Atiku

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, has debunked rumours that he may step down for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democracy Party, PDP, presidential candidate in the 2023 elections. Kwankwaso stated his when he featured at the Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, forum, yesterday in Lagos, pledged to renegotiate the country’s huge debt to stabilize the country. He accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the PDP, which have been in position of power since 1999 of being responsible for the challenges facing the country. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that two political parties, the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, and the African Congress, AAC, have not uploaded even a single nomination to the portal, three days to deadline.   The two political parties have former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Sahara Reporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore as their presidential candidates for the 2023 election. Coalition will Only Work if Obi Accepts to Run as VP – NNPP

Mr Major Agni, the spokesperson of the NNPP (New Nigeria Peoples Party), has indicated that the only premise under which a coalition with Labour Party will work is if Peter Obi accepts to serve as the Vice Presidential candidate to Kwankwaso. A former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has said a former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, might have become his running mate if the latter had joined the New Nigeria Peoples Party, instead of the Labour Party, after exiting the Peoples Democratic Party.
