Ibrahim Musa Gusau Elected as New NFF President

Ibrahim Musa Gusau has been elected as the new President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after an election was conducted on Friday. Pinnick Comments on Possibility Of Vying For Third Term

Amaju Pinnick, the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has confirmed that he will not run for a third term after his current tenure expires this year. Pinnick, a former chairman of Delta State Football Association took over as NFF President in 2014 and his tenure is expected to end next month. Super Falcons Lament Over Unpaid WAFCON Bonuses

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is still yet to pay the Women’s National Team their allowances and bonuses from last month’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON. The Super Falcons deliberately missed training before their third-place play-off against Zambia over their unpaid bonuses and allowances. According to The Nations, each player is owed over $10,000 including the bonuses for their three wins which enabled the team to qualify for the WAFCON semi-finals in Morocco. The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has been directed by FIFA to pay ex-Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr a compensation fee of $378,000 over a contract breach. The Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, has demanded that Rohr be paid a compensation fee after the former Nigeria National team coach protested to the football governing body about a breach in his contract by the NFF.
