Kuje prison escapee, Kamala Lawal has been apprehended by the Kastina Police Command after successfully raiding a suspected criminal hideout. The Alleged escapee was also caught in the possession of leaves perceived to be Indian hemp. Kuje Prison: Why Attackers Succeeded – Aregbesola

Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Interior, has said the attackers of the Kuje Prison in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, succeeded because the Army and Police personnel charged to secure the prison could not effectively discharge their duty. Kuje Prison Attackers Had Help From Inside – Lawan

Dr, Ahmad Lawan, President of the Senate, has alleged that attackers of the Kuje Medium Security Correctional Centre, had help from insiders in the facility who facilitated the onslaught. He also said the attack was a testament to the state of Nigeria’s security apparatus at the moment.
