A brother to the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed how they spoke while he was in Kenya shortly before “he went missing.” The brother, Kingsley Kanu, disclosed that the detainee had taken a walk when he was arrested and that he was without his documents. “His UK passport remains in Kenya,” The UK Guardian declared. The media and publicity secretary of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says he or the group has not accused Senator Ifeanyi Uba and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike of being involved in the arrest of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Kenyan Immigration and diplomatic authorities have claimed no involvement in the arrest and “extradition” of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who was alleged to have been arrested in Kenya and brought to Nigeria. Alexander Muteshi, Kenya’s Director-General of Immigration Services, refuted the claims of the country’s entanglement with the arrest and “extradition” of Kanu. The chances of school girls in Kenya continuing their education after lockdown have been threatened by spate of pregnancy among school-going girls in the country. Teen pregnancy has surged in the five months period of lockdown imposed in the country as measure to check the spread of fatal corona virus disease. A Health Information Survey conducted in Kenya reveals that about 4,000 school girls have been impregnated over the course of the lockdown. Kenya had established a guideline which required victims of corona virus to be buried not more than 48 hours after death.
