The Kaduna State Government announces that six kidnapped victims have been rescued by troops of the Nigerian Army during a clearance patrol. Gunmen abducted four Catholic Reverend Sisters on Sunday along the Okigwe-Umulolo area of the expressway. Insecurity: Ondo Govt Offers N50k Reward To Residents

The Governor Rotimi Akeredolu administration has offered a N50,000 reward for any resident who offers useful information that will unmask the identity of kidnappers and other criminal elements in the State. Mrs. Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, stated this after the weekly State Executive Council meeting at the Governor's Office on Wednesday. She stated that the reward was meant to encourage residents to assist the government in its efforts to rid the State of criminals. Father Chinedu Nwadike, the Deputy Registrar of Spiritan University, Nneochi, has been abducted by gunmen. The Catholic priest was abducted on Friday along the Enugu-Okigwe road alongside a seminarian, Emmanuel Nwafor. Punch reports that their abductors are demanding N50m ransom for their release. A family source said, “Rev. Fr.
