INEC Warns Against Receiving Funds From Abroad for Political Campaigns

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned political parties to desist from receiving funds from foreign countries to aid their campaigns. The INEC National Commissioner, Festus Okoye, stated this while speaking on a programme, Politics Today, aired on Channels Television. INEC Will Collate 2023 Election Results Manually – Okoye

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that the results of the 2023 general elections will be collated manually despite the introduction of electronic transmission of results. INEC Alerts Nigerians about Fake Online Registration Portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has alerted Nigerians about the existence of a false online site asking people to enroll for their permanent voter card (PVC). The Commission had already announced that voter registration would end on the 31st of July but barely 24 hours after the suspension of voter registration, a fake online portal claimed the government has approved the registration of PVC online.
