World football governing body Fifa has changed the dates for next month’s 2022 World Cup qualifying two-legged showdown between Nigeria and Ghana, the latter’s Football Association has announced. The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has approved the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja for the second leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Black Stars of Ghana. Ghana FA Appoints Rajevac As New Black Stars Coach

The Ghana Football Association has named 67-year-old Serbian Milovan Rajevac as the new coach for the Black Stars, its senior men’s national team. Rajevac replaced former coach Charles Kwabena Akonnor who was sacked with his two assistants early this month. He has signed a one-year contract with Ghana and will have Maxwell Konadu and former Ghanaian international Otto Addo as his assistants. This is the second time the Serbian will be coaching Ghana’s senior national team, after guiding the Black Stars to the quarter-finals at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a ministerial delegation to Ghana to tackle the persistent rift between Nigerian traders and the Ghanaian authorities. Mr Ifedayo Sayo, the Special Assistant to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, in a statement said issued on Monday said the minister will lead the delegation to Ghana. Ghana’s legal tender has been ranked the best performing currency in Africa for the first quarter of 2021. It appreciated at 0.6 per cent to the US dollar, bettering some other prevalent 15 currencies in Africa. Among the currencies are the Egyptian pound, Nigerian naira and the South African rand, Ghanaweb reports.
