The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Bello, has banned Eid prayers at the National Eid prayer ground on the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway, Airport Road. Staff of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) have embarked on a 7 days warning strike to drive home their demand for payment of minimum wage. Staff members staged a protest at the entrance of the commission’s headquarters at Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama Abuja. The Association of Resident Doctors in the Federal Capital Territory Administration, ARD-FCTA, have embarked on an indefinite strike action from September 1, 2020 to protest unfavourable work conditions.
