The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi State, has faulted the appointment of Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, as a Professor of Cyber Security by the Governing Council and the management of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). 100 Zamfara Kidnap Victims Freed Without Ransom, Says Police

The Zamfara police command has said bandits were not paid any ransom to free 100 children, nursing mothers, and others held hostage for 42 days. A statement issued by a spokesperson for the police, Muhammad Shehu in Gusau on Tuesday said the victims were freed at Kabaro forest in Maru local government area.
