IPOB The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, yesterday said that senseless attacks are not part of its mandate and it is not a violent group and cannot stoop to the level of attacking Police stations because its members are not unknown gunmen. Names of 398 Passengers On Board Bombed Abuja-Kaduna Train [Full list]

Train Names of 398 victims, who boarded the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train, have emerged. Recalled that on Monday night, some gunmen suspected to be terrorists bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigina axis, leaving hundreds of passengers dead in the attack. Reports say that during the attack, many passengers were said to have been initially kidnapped, including Zamfara State former deputy Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Liman. Others were shot dead and an unascertained number of the passengers also sustained various degrees of injury as a result of gunshots. Court Orders Transfer Of DCP Abba Kyari, 6 Others To Prison Custody

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Monday, ordered the transfer of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, Abba Kyari, and six others that are facing drug trafficking charges with him, to the Kuje Correctional Center Trial Justice Emeka Nwike ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to transfer the Defendants to prison custody, shortly after he denied them bail. The court held that the NDLEA placed sufficient materials before it to warrant the refusal of bail to Kyari and his Co-Defendants. Terrorists Bomb Abuja-Kaduna Rail Track, Attack Train Passengers

Gunmen Suspected terrorists on Monday evening bombed Abuja-Kaduna rail tracks and attacked a train with about 970 passengers onboard. It was gathered that the Kaduna-bound train derailed after the explosive device planted by the terrorists went off underneath one of the coaches.
