Turkish Club Terminates Ahmed Musa’s Contract

Turkish Club, Fatih Karagumruk, has decided to terminate the contract of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa. The Turkish club disclosed the news on all their social media platforms on Friday. See Also: Qatar 2022: Bring Home World Cup, Eto’o Tells Indomitable Lions The 29-year-old forward still had a year left on his contract before the termination. Musa only made three league appearances since he joined the club as a free agent last summer from Nigeria Professional Football League Club, Kano Pillars. Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa Marries for Third time

Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa at the weekend got married for the third time. The 28-year-old reportedly got married in a secret ceremony last Saturday. The marriage with his first wife, Jamila, ended in 2017. He took another wife, Juliet, in 2017 with whom he has been living. His marriage to Mariam officially makes her his second wife.

Musa To Make Pillars Debut Vs Enyimba May 5, Opts Out Of Away Games

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa will make his competitive debut for Kano Pillars against Enyimba on May 5, Musa rejoined the Sai Masu Gida on a ‘flexible short-term loan deal’ last week. Musa will however not be available for majority of the club’s away fixtures due to bad roads and security concerns. According to club sources the former Leicester City star will only take part in away games with close proximity to Kano. The winger trained with his new teammates for the first time on Monday morning. Top officials revealed he will not be on a salary, while his bonuses will be donated to charity. Four-time NPFL champions Pillars are joint top of the current league table with Kwara United. The NPFL resumes later this month after a mid-season break.

Musa Explains Kano Pillars Move

Super Eagles skipper, Ahmed Musa, has disclosed why he decided to rejoin his former club Kano Pillars. On Tuesday, Kano Pillars confirmed that Musa had rejoined them, having signed a deal until the end of the season. Musa's agreement includes a clause that allows him to leave when and if he can find a club in Europe. He joins as a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) elite player to boost their image and help Musa maintain his fitness as he continues his search for a European club. The 28-year-old, who is a free agent since leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in October, had received offers from England, Russia and Turkey. Reports making the rounds have it that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa’s representatives are talking with a host of clubs in Europe, including some in the Premier League. Musa is hoping to secure a move back to English football in the coming weeks. Various sides in England’s top flight have been approached to see if they would like to acquire the player, including Newcastle, West Ham, Burnley and Sheffield United, as well as Palace – but it remains to be seen if they will make an offer. The Nigeria international is one of the higher profile free agents currently available having left his former club Al Nassr last month.
