The Presidential candidate of the peoples’ democratic party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has condemned the assault on the convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

The Presidential aspirant sent a message of condolence via his Facebook page to the family of those killed and injured in the attack.
“I share my sympathy with the Distinguished Senator.”
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace.”
“We’ve got work to do to ensure that safety and security return to our dear country”, Atiku posted.
According to reports, the convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was attacked in a community called Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Although the casualty of the attack is unknown, the police had confirmed the incident.
