Veteran Nigerian rapper, Lotanna Udezue, popularly known as Biglo has died after a long battle with kidney ailment.
His death was announced on Instagram by singer Jazzman Olofin on Sunday.
Olofin wrote, “Dear BIGLO, heard the sad news last night you passed away. You fought bravely all the way but GOD Almighty knows best. We’ll keep the fire burning. Rest in peace, bro. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 FYI, BIGLO was a Nigerian music producer, rapper, and singer.”
Recall that Biglo revealed in 2019 that he was suffering from a kidney ailment.
He revealed this through his Gofundme page where he said he was diagnosed with renal kidney failure in July 2018.
The veteran rapper said the ailment made him undergo dialysis three times a week since the diagnosis.
According to Biglo, his life was adversely affected by the ailment, noting he had lost his job, car, and even his house as a result of his predicament.
The rapper came into limelight in the early 2000s with his hilarious rap style. He worked with 2shotz and the famous Styl-Plus.
