Breaking: Abducted Kagara Students Released

Bandits have released the students and staff of Government Science College Kagara, in Niger State who were kidnapped Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Their release was confirmed by a top security source involved in the counter-kidnapping operation in the State who spoke to Punch. Recall that the students were abducted by the bandits who disguised in military uniforms from their hostels over a week ago. Among those abducted were 27 students, three staff members, and 12 members of their family in the early hours of Wednesday.

Gov Ugwuanyi Imposes Curfew

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has imposed a curfew on the Oruku Community, in Nkanu East Local Government Area of the State.
