An online petition initiated change.org by Reno Omokri, a former special assistant to Nigeria’s former President, Goodluck Jonathan, has been removed from the website. The petition was addressed to the International Criminal Court to arraign Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, over alleged crimes against humanity. “This petition isn’t available. On October 19, 2020, the Lagos state government set up a nine-man Judicial Panel of Inquiry to investigate cases of brutality and human rights violations perpetrated by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and the dissolved Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
