Abduction: Negotiate with Bandits Now, Parents Beg El-Rufai

Following the failure of government and security agencies to secure the release of the 39 abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in the Mando Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, their parents have appealed to the Governor Nasir El-Rufai to bargain with the bandits to safely secure their release.  The female students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, who were kidnapped in front of their hostel in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, have been released by the gunmen. The students were freed on Tuesday night but it could not be ascertained if any ransom was paid to secure their release.
