Nigeria: Suspected Kidnappers of Chibok Girls Paraded By the Police
The Nigerian Police today paraded eight men who are suspected to have been part of the kidnapping of the Chibok girls. The eight suspects were part of a group of 22 men paraded by the Borno State Commissioner of Police, Damian Chukwu.
According to Mr Chukwu, the 22 men that were paraded were members of the Boko Haram sect and were responsible for various crimes including the kidnapping of the Chibok girls and over 50 suicide bombings.
The Commissioner praised the Inspector General of Police (IGP)’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) led by DCP Abba Kyari, saying it was their act of gallantry that led to the successful arrest of the suspects.
