DisCos Generates N398.16bn in Six months – NBS Reveals

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) have generated N398.16 billion in both the first and second quarters of the year. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said after application 7,043,594 Nigerians did not finish the voter registration process before the deadline for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR). According to INEC, only 3,444,378 out of 10,487,378 eligible voters went for physical registration after completing the online pre-registration process. Gunmen Hijack Commercial Vehicle, Abduct Passengers in Rivers

A commercial vehicle boarded by five passengers has been hijacked by unknown gunmen on the Emohua-Kalabari axis of the East-West Road in Rivers State.
