The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insists that the party members in the Northeast ought to do more ahead of the 2023 general elections.

While speaking during the wedding reception of Governor Yahaya’s son, Mishahu Yahaya, he reminded the devotees of APC that Kashim Shettima, his running mate, is from their region.
He also thanked the party supporters and members for all their support.
“Now that your son is equally the running mate you have to double your efforts, and you have to do more.”
“I challenge you to do more than what you have done in the past”, Tinubu said
Ahmed Lawan, The President of the Senate said the Northeast is Tinubu’s second zone after the southwest.
After declaring political commencement, Shettima said “the Northeast is an APC domain more so one of you is a running mate.”
