Qatar 2022: Bring Home World Cup, Eto’o Tells Indomitable Lions

Samuel Eto’o, the President of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, has tasked the Indomitable Lions to bring home the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 2022 World Cup will be placed in Qatar from the 20th of November to the 18th of December, 2022. The Cameroon national football team has qualified for eight editions of the FIFA World Cup finals so far with their best outing being a quarter-finals place. FG’s Inaction To End ASUU Strike Worrisome, Unacceptable – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, has lamented the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. Obi described the ongoing strike as “unconscionable, worrisome and unacceptable” and regretted that the Federal Government has not done enough to resolve the contending issues with the university teachers. The Peter Obi media office has berated Dele Alake, the Director of Strategy and Communications of the Bola Tinubu campaign council after his comments about the Labour Party, LP presidential aspirant. Court Dismisses FG’s Request To Extradite Abba Kyari To US

An Abuja federal high court has dismissed a suit by the federal government asking to extradite suspended deputy commissioner of police, DCP, Abba Kyari, to the United States to face charges. The suspended DCP is wanted in the US over alleged conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering, and identity theft. Inyang Ekwo while delivering judgment on Monday adjudged the suit filed by the office of the attorney-general of the federation was competent and bereft of merit.
