  The Personal Assistant to the President on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has stated that the protests against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad were coordinated by internet fraudsters. Onochie who disclosed this in a series of tweets that while there were a few bad eggs in the police, the protests against SARS were orchestrated by Internet fraudsters. DSS Operative Shot Dead by NSCDC Official in Osun State

  An operative of the Department of State Services (DSS) named Seyi Adebowale was shot dead by an official of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), identified as Sunday Dade in Osun State.     The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has stated that there is no official date for the reopening of camps nationwide. There has been widespread reports on social media that Orientation Course will resume 27th October 2020 with Batch “A” Stream 2 and that the batch has been subdivided into Batches “A” and “B”. The Corps said it was waiting for approval for the reopening of orientation camps having made a presentation before the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.
