While it was anticipated that President Tinubu would return after the forum in Saudi Arabia, his extended absence stirred speculations about his whereabouts. Reports circulated that he had traveled to London for a private visit before continuing on to France, another European country.

Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, had earlier clarified that President Tinubu’s visit to The Netherlands was part of official duties and had been scheduled in advance. However, the prolonged absence fueled rumors and speculation until the recent announcement of his imminent return.
