A 43-year-old man named Yinusa Okunloye was killed by suspected cultists in Ofatedo, Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State.
The Osun Police Command disclosed the news, reporting that suspected cultists broke into Yinusa’s residence and shot him dead around midnight on Saturday.
SP Yemisi Opalola said that the case was reported to the Ido Osun Police Division Headquarters by Ismaik Azeez at about 1.30 am.

She said Azeez claims that three suspected cultists invaded the house of Yinusa and called him out of his room before shooting him in the chest.
The Police Spokesperson said Yinusa died on the spot and then his corpse was moved by the police to the University of Osun Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
At the time of the report, she said none of the perpetrators had been apprehended but assured that the Police Command was making efforts to get the cultists arrested.
